Lake Wales - The City of Lake Wales did a tribute on their Facebook page to Wanda Faye Howard, President of the Lake Wales Chapter of the NAACP, who passed away recently.

Wanda was very active with several causes and organizations around Lake Wales and beyond.

At a Commission meeting in November, she was recognized by Mayor Gene Fultz with a proclamation honoring all her efforts especially with youth
